Victor "Cubby" De Pasquale, 76, of Scranton, died Thursday afternoon at Allied Services Hospice Center in Scranton after a short illness.
Born in Dunmore, on July 17, 1941, he was the son of the late Genero and Alice (Butka) De Pasquale. Cubby was a 1958 graduate of Dunmore High School. After graduation, he served in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Sill, Okla., with the military police. Before retirement, he was the director of voter registration for Lackawanna County.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kenneth Sebastianelli for his kind and compassionate care, as well as the doctors and nurses at Moses Taylor Hospital and Allied Services Hospice Center.
He is survived by two brothers, Genero (Nancy), of Clarks Summit; and Anthony (Maryann), of Mineral Springs; a sister, Ann Marie Rusch, of Dunmore; nieces, nephews, grandnephews and cousins.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Service Inc., 111 Colburn Ave., Clarks Summit.
