Memorial Service
Susan M Meyer
was the daughter of the late Henrietta and George Meyer.
She was born in the Bronx and was never shy about letting you know about that!
She is survived by her wife of 5 years, Carol Vanwie, a brother Bruce Myer and wife
Anny, 2 nieces, Heather and Danelle.
As a young adult, she traveled throughout Europe. Sue moved to Pennsylvania 12
years ago and was very involved with the Hillside Senior Center. An avid reader, there
was not a book that she didn’t read. One of Sue’s favorite things was doing the New
York Times Sunday paper cross word puzzle in pen under one hour.
Sue was a member of Temple Hesed and very proud of her heritage.
The family would like to thank Rabbi Swartz for his support along with the nurses at
Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton.
A memorial service celebrating Sue’s life will take place Friday June 7 th at 1 PM at
Temple Hesed 1 Knox Rd, Scranton, PA.
