Sharon L. Perkins Robey

Sharon L. Robey, 80, of Hunlock Creek, died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.

She was the widow of Daniel Robey, who died in October 2010.

Born Dec. 30, 1942, in Elizabeth, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Stanley Sr. and Dorothy Dunn Hoover.

Sharon was a graduate from Edison High School in New Jersey. Following graduation, she moved to the Nanticoke area, where she resided for over 60 years.

Sharon loved shopping and playing cards with family and friends.

Surviving are her son, Scott Perkins, Shickshinny; grandsons, Connor Bobinoski and Nick Perkins; brother, Stanley Hoover Jr. (Erma), Lakewood, N.J.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Perkins; daughter, Dawn Bobinoski; and grandsons, Matthew and Josh Perkins.

A celebration of life will be held from 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday at the Hunlock Creek Fire Hall, 1114 Main Road, Hunlock Creek.

A private cremation has taken place at Jennings Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., 111 Colburn Ave., Clarks Summit, at the on-site crematory.
