Rosemarie (Fede) Mazzotta, 88, years, of Clarks Summit, passed away peacefully Tuesday, in Allied Services Hospice Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born January 3, 1936 in Queens, New York she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Snihur) Fede.
Rosemarie had a passion for the medical field and worked with numerous hospitals such as LIJ (Long Island Jewish) and Huntington Medical Group as a patient care coordinator and Marcus Management Group as an administrator for anesthesiologists.
Rosemarie was an avid reader and member of many book clubs. She enjoyed gardening and was always in her garden planting flowers. Rosemarie was heavily involved in many parishes throughout her life, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, Rosary Society member, head of the Bereavement Committee and served as a CCD teacher. She loved playing cards and later in life became a modern day Picasso, painting and doing arts and crafts. Rosemarie also loved her dogs and farm animals but her greatest love and number one priority was her family.
Surviving are two daughters: Christina Fede of Clarks Summit and Diane Mazzotta of Greentown; granddaughter, Nicole (Eric) White of Clarks Summit.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas and Robert Fede.
The funeral will take place on Saturday, June 1, at 9:30am at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State Street, Clarks Summit, with a Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of Rosemarie’s life to follow.Saturday, June 1, 2024
