Robert Michael Wills, 72, of Clarks Summit, died on Friday in Allied Services Hospice Center after his battle with interstitial lung disease. He was the husband of 48 years to Kathryn Wills (née Kolenda).
Born June 14, 1950, in Newark, N.J., he was the son of the late Paul and Lillian Wills (née Young). He graduated from Union High School in Union N.J. and attended Kean College. Robert proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy.
He was self-employed for many years as an over-the-road truck driver and loved the open road.
Robert was of the Catholic faith. He loved spending time with his family and he enjoyed different quality foods.
An avid old movie fan, he appreciated vintage movies and TV shows (Seinfeld being a favorite). He liked to travel, whether it was to visit Mexico, his daughter in California, or Atlantic City where he enjoyed the slots.
Often, he would listen to classical music, but he had an appreciation for all music. His gentle smile and humorous ways, sharing funny gifs and photo taking will be sadly missed.
Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Pagnotti and husband Frank, Clarks Green; and Stefanie Wills and husband James Killiany, Los Gatos, Calif.; two brothers, John Wills, New Jersey, and James Wills, New Jersey; two grandsons, Dylan and Luke Pagnotti, grand-doggies Penny and Charlie. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Wills.
A private blessing service by Msgr. Joseph G. Quinn, Pastor, Our Lady of Snows Parish, will be at the family's convenience and the internment's convenience.
