Robert Edward Kurilla

Robert Edward Kurilla, 76, of Olyphant, died on Monday, in Regional Hospital of Scranton.  He was the husband of Annmarie (Wilensky) Kurilla to whom he was married to for 51 years.

Born April 13, 1945 in Olyphant, Bob was the son of the late John and Agnes (Dubravcak) Kurilla. He worked as a police officer in Olyphant, and served many years as a Pennsylvania state constable.

The family would like to thank the staff of Regional Hospital ICU for the care and compassion they afforded Robert.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife is one son: Robert J. Kurilla and wife Vanessa of Jessup, one daughter: Susan Egnotovich and husband Shawn of Olyphant; 3 Grandchildren, Jonathan, Shawn, and Samantha; nephew John and niece Jackie.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Kurilla.

A private cremation will take place at the Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Service, Inc., 111 Colburn Avenue, Clarks Summit, PA 18411 at their on-site crematory. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Josephs Center, 2010 Adams Avenue, Scranton, PA 18509.
