Regina Carolyn (Lipinski) Woloszyn, 93, Falls, died Wednesday in Allied Services Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Woloszyn. The couple was married since November 22, 1947.
Born November 14, 1925 in Falls, Regina was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Victoria (Phillips) Lipinski.
She was a graduate of Falls Overfield Schools and retired as a nurses aid from the Clarks Summit State Hospital after 24 years. Regina and Frank owned and operated Frank’s Tavern in Dalton.
The family would like to thank the staff at the ICU at Geisinger CMC and Allied Services Hospice Center for their care and compassion towards Regina. They are especially grateful for Marilyn Coble who took care of Regina for the last 5 years of her life.
Surviving is one son: Robert Woloszyn of Falls, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings: Genevieve Matylewicz, Walter Benny, Helen Ann Lipinski and Stanley Lipinski.
A private graveside blessing was conducted by Msgr. Joseph G. Quinn, Pastor of Our Lady of the Snows Church, Regina’s longtime parish.
