Nicholas Brigante

Nicholas Brigante, 83, of Clarks Summit, died on Monday, in Geisinger Community Medical Center.  He was the husband of Susan (Corridore) Brigante to whom he was married for over 63 years.  

Born October 1, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York he was the son of the late Nicholas and Ann (Desderio) Brigante.

Nicholas worked for many years as a Supervisor at Northrop Grumman until their closure. After, he worked at the Tobyhanna Army Depot. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Snows Parish.

Nicholas was a diehard NY Rangers fan. Nothing made him happier than being surrounded by his family and taking care of his fish.

Surviving are 4 sons: Vinny of Port Washington, NY, Nicholas (Christineof Tobyhanna, Joseph Brigante (Debbieof Myrtle Beach, SC, Michael (Shannonof East Stroudsburg; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph BrigantesisterDolores Motzmany loving nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by daughter in law, Laura Brigante, and grandson Dylan Brigante. 

The funeral will be Saturday at 2 pm at Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 111 Colburn Ave., Clarks Summit with a blessing service by Rev. Michael Boris, assistant pastor of Our Lady of the Snows Parish. The family will receive relatives and friends from 12-2pm at the funeral home. 

Jennings-Calvey is honored to serve Nicholas and his family.
