Nancy Jane De Pasquale

Nancy Jane De Pasquale 77, Clarks Summit, died Saturday, at home.  She was the loving wife of Genero De Pasquale.  They celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary last September.

Born on February 8, 1946 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Francis Raymond and Marie (Beck) Black. She was a 1963 graduate of West Scranton High School.  She formerly was employed by Bell Telephone, Scranton, as an operator and later in the dial administration department.

Nancy was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Parish and enjoyed being a host and selling Tupperware. She enjoyed Elvis Presley’s music and was often heard singing Blue Hawaii.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Maria Celmer and husband Ron, Archbald; a brother, Frank Black and wife Sherry, Sterling; two sisters, Lorraine Jenkins and husband Kenny, Clarks Summit, and Geraldine Rafalko and husband Bill, Scranton; nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

The funeral will be on Friday, July 7 with a Mass Christian burial at 9:30 am from Our Lady of the Snows, 301 South State Street, Clarks Summit to be celebrated by Msgr.  Joseph G. Quinn, Pastor.  Interment St. John's Cemetery in Jessup. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday from 8:30 - 9:15 am at Our Lady of the Snows Church.   Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, P.O.
