Ingo A. Lahnemann, 77, of Tunkhannock, died unexpectedly on Sunday, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. He was the husband of Romayne Walker.
Born June 9, 1946 in Eltville, Germany he was the son of the late Enno and the late Helmy (Gebhardt) Lahnemann. Ingo graduated from Mountain View High School, attended the United States Naval Academy, earned a bachelors degree from Johns Hopkins University and his Masters from George Washington University. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy.
Ingo worked for AT&T for over 30 years. After retirement, he started a consulting business specializing in undersea fiber optic cables working primarily with NEC of Japan. He was an avid skier and enjoyed rebuilding antique motorcycles.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his brothers, Ron and Eric Lahnemann, sister-in-law, Melanie Mackarey and husband, Bud, a cousin, niece and nephews.
A private cremation will take place at Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 111 Colburn Avenue, Clarks Summit.
