Gloria Mastro Murray

Gloria (Mastro) Murray, 88, a longtime resident of Waverly Township, died on Thursday, in Abington Manor. She was the wife of the late Edward Murray. Born April 22, 1936 in Waverly, Gloria was the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Palladino) Mastro, Sr.

She was a 1955 graduate of Clarks Summit High School and honorably served her country in the United States Army as a WAC. She served her community as a crossing guard in Waverly for over 29 years. 

Surviving is one brother: Franklin Mastro of N. Abington Twp., two sisters: Abbey Ridall and Catherine Mennig, both of Waverly and a nephew, David Mennig. 

She was preceded in death by half-sisters, Loretta, Marie and Patsy DiPalma.

The funeral will be private. Interment, Hickory Grove Cemetery, Waverly Township.
