Frank Joseph DeRigge

Frank J. DeRigge passed away on November 25, 2023 in Newtown, PA from complications of dementia.

He was born in Dalton Pennsylvania, to the late Anthony and Celeste DeRigge.

Frank was an employee of the A&P Tea Company for more than 30 years and served as assistant manager through that whole time. He was a member of St. Gregory Church, AARP Golf League, and was a volunteer for many years at Sloan’s Senior Citizens Center.

He was a good, kind man, loved by all.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife of more than 50 years, Adelaide, his sisters Filomena Ciocci, Antoinette Deleo, Rose Rosipko, Angeline Hnatko, Mary Catalano, and Josephine DeRigge, and brothers, Michael and Neil DeRigge. He is survived by his children Anthony (Rebecca) DeRigge and Celeste (Joe) Accardi; grandchildren, Alyson Accardi, Joe (Deena) Accardi, and Ben (Paola) DeRigge; great grandchildren, Isabella, Matthew, Raegan and Carson. He is also survived by his sister Nancy (the late Tony Curra) and brother Leonard (Helen) DeRigge, and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will take place on Friday at 11 am from the Church Of St. Gregory, 330 North Abington Road, Clarks Green with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by Rev. John M. Lapera, pastor.  Interment is private.  The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:45 to 10:45am at the church.
