Emil Viselli

Emilio (Emil) Viselli, 53, Clarks Summit, died Thursday from a catastrophic brain hemorrhage at the VNA Hospice Unit at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.Born April 5, 1961, in Scranton, he was the son of Marie (DePumpo) and the late Albert E. Viselli. He was a 1979 graduate of Abington Heights High School, and went on to work with his father in the building and construction business.Emil enjoyed the outdoors. An avid animal lover, he would befriend animals and in turn animals and pets were attracted to Emil. He persevered in his happiness with life's challenges, living with a vascular malformation within his head. A resident of the Harrison House, he enjoyed telling stories. His listeners enjoyed when he would story tell. His friendly kindness will be sadly missed.In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Albert J. Viselli (Kathy), Clarks Summit; and a nephew, Albert E. Viselli (Nickole) and their daughter, Emilia.Services will be private with interment at the family's convenience.Arrangements are being made by the Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Service Inc., 111 Colburn Ave., Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
