Betty Hetzel

Elizabeth Louise (Finkler) Hetzel, 87, of Clarks Summit, died on Sunday, in Regional Hospital of Scranton. She was the wife of the late Walter B. Hetzel.  

Born July 3, 1936 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Robert and the late Josephine (King) Finkler.

Surviving are her children: Edward Hetzel of Ransom Twp, Jeffrey Hetzel of Clarks Summit, Susan (Gerald) Presley of Ruby, AK; siblings: Ronald and James Finkler and Joan Ritter; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Joe Fory, her siblings Robert Jr., Donald, Richard, Anne Marie, Patricia, Catherine, Mary and Raymond. 

The funeral will take place on Saturday at 3pm at Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 111 Colburn Avenue, Clarks Summit. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Schultzville. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 2-3 at the funeral home.
