It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Donna (Pendergast) Fralick, who left this world on February 2nd at the age of 74. A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, she touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her selfless love and unwavering kindness.
Born on September 1, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Marian (Glassford) Pendergast. Donna grew up in Cortland, NY before moving to Factoryville, PA in 1991. She spent her life as a beacon of warmth and generosity. She married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Fralick, and for 56 years, they built a love so strong that even time could not dim its light. Theirs was a love story of devotion, laughter, and an unbreakable bond—one that, even in passing, her heart was reluctant to leave behind.
Family was the center of Donna's world. She spent her life putting the needs of her loved ones before her own, always ensuring their happiness came first. As a mother, she nurtured her children, Terisha Phillips (Brian), Kelli Jardim (Rob), and Stephen Fralick, with unconditional love and unwavering support. She was not only their mother but their greatest protector, guide, and friend. Donna was blessed with five grand children; Torrie, Kaela, Taylor, Emma and Annabella.
Her love only grew with each new generation. She found immeasurable joy in being a grandmother and great-grandmother, treasuring every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her gentle spirit and warm embrace made her home a sanctuary where love and laughter thrived.
A woman of simplicity and quiet strength, Donna never sought recognition for all that she did. She found fulfillment in caring for others, in the small joys of daily life, and in the deep love she shared with her family. She was a sister to Gary Pendergast (Mary) and Pete Pendergast (Connie) and an aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom she adored.
Her passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but the love she gave so freely will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Though she has left this world, her spirit remains in the lessons she taught, the kindness she shared, and the love she so selflessly gave.
A private service for immediate family will be held on Thursday February 6, 2025 followed by a memorial gathering for relatives and friends on Saturday February 8, 2025 from 12 - 3 PM at Hi-Lanes, 8 Prospect St, Homer, NY 13077. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that acts of kindness be done in her memory, just as she spent her life doing for others.
Her love was steadfast, her heart unyielding—even in her final moments, it seemed as though it refused to stop beating, as if it could not bear to part from the family she so deeply cherished. But love like hers does not end—it carries on, in every shared memory, every spoken word of kindness, and every life she touched.
Rest peacefully, Donna. You were loved beyond words, and you will be missed beyond measure.
