Brian E. Evans

Brian E. Evans 47, Richmond, died Thursday, in Westport Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Richmond, VA.

Born December 29, 1974 in Scranton, he was the son of Carlton W. and Alice Ann (Nodolski) Evans, Sr. Clarks Summit.  A 1993 graduate of Abington Heights High School, and received his Associates degree from Penn State University where he also received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.  He was an electrical engineer for over 23 years, beginning his professional career with Dominion Telecom which later was Windstream Services, Little Rock, AR. 

He was a member of Our Lady of the Snow Parish, Clarks Summit where he served as an alter server.  At an early age he enjoyed sports and played little league and was a member of the cub scouts. While in high school he played soccer and was a member of the track team. An avid fan, for the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Yankees.  

Surviving; a son: Shane and a daughter: Skyler, both of Richmond VA.; two brothers, Carl, Jr. Clarks Summit and David (Wendy) Glen Allen, VA.; His former wife, Christy Privett Evans   Richmond, VA.; nieces and nephews.                    

He was preceded in death by brother, Michael Evans.

The family will receive relatives and friends, Thursday at St. Michaels Church, 4491 Springfield Rd., Richmond, VA, from 5 pm to 7:00 pm.  The funeral will be Thursday January 5^th with Mass of Christian burial at 1:30 pm at Our Lady of the Snows Church 301 S. State St, Clarks Summit, PA.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Service, Inc., 111 Colburn Avenue, Clarks Summit, PA 18411 from 12 noon to 1:15 pm.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
