Bonita Ann Richardson

Bonita Ann “Bonnie” (Bianco) Richardson, 63, of Dalton, died Friday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of Robert Richardson. The couple would have celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary on May 10.
Born July 17, 1959, in Scranton, she was the daughter of the Dolores (Lapsansky) Bianco and the late Stephen. Bonnie was a 1977 graduate of Scranton Technical High School. She enjoyed shopping, crafts and had a knack for decorating. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially the children of the family, often seen in many photos with them. She will be especially missed by her best friends, Lisa and Leslie.
The family would like to extend a special thank you for the staff at Geisinger in Danville for their care and compassion during the last few weeks.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are one son, Robert James Richardson Jr. (Jennifer); siblings, Bernadette Wesley, Stephen Bianco Jr. (Maria), Belinda Bianco; aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, Stephano Bianco.
A celebration of life will take place Saturday at 2 p.m. at Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., 111 Colburn Ave., Clarks Summit. The family will receive relatives and friends from noon to 2 before the service at the funeral home. A private cremation will take place at the funeral home’s on-site crematory.
