AnnMarie Kurilla, 72, of Olyphant, died on Tuesday, after a long and hard-fought battle with breast cancer in Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. She was the widow of the late Robert E. Kurilla who died on February 21, 2022.
Born November 15, 1951 in Scranton, AnnMarie was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Wilensky. She was a graduate of the Scranton Tech High School. Prior to retirement in 2019, AnnMarie worked as a Quality Control Inspector for Maid-Rite Steak Co, Dunmore.
The family would like to thank the staff of Geisinger Community Medical Center for the care and compassion they provided to AnnMarie.
Surviving are her loving children; son: Robert J. Kurilla and wife Vanessa of Jessup; daughter: Susan Egnotovich and husband Shawn of Olyphant; 4 Grandchildren, Jonathan, David, Shawn, and Samantha; Great Grandchild, Rylie, nephew, John and niece, Jackie.
A private cremation will take place at Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Service, Inc., 111 Colburn Avenue, Clarks Summit, PA 18411 at their on-site crematory.
