Margaret Suzanne (Lutz) Wilson, 75, of Scranton, formerly of Clarks Summit, died Thursday at Mountain View Care Center. She was the wife of the late Charles Martin Wilson, former general manager of The Scranton Times.
Born Jan. 21, 1942, in Scranton, daughter of the late Kermit and Margaret (Lotz) Lutz. Before moving to Scranton she lived in Clarks Summit. She was educated in the Scranton School District and was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. She formerly worked at The Scranton Times in the circulation department. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Epiphany, Glenburn.
She was a fun-loving person. She was a devoted mother who raised her children after the untimely death of their father. A loving grandmother, she cherished her granddaughter Kylie. She will be sadly missed.
Surviving are a daughter, Kristi Wilson, Grand Island, N.Y.; a son, Kurt Wilson, Charlotte, N.C.; sister-in-law, Karen Lutz, Scranton; a granddaughter, Kylie Wilson, Charlotte; three nephews, Rob Lutz and Chris Lutz, both of State College; Dan Lutz, Scotland; and her best friend, Edie MacIntire, Scranton, the godmother to her children.
She was also preceded in death by brother, Robert Lutz.
